Bedankt Jean & Cecile! Wij hebben niets aan te merken, alles was super aangenaam! Van de vele bomen waardoor er genoeg schaduw was tot het onderhoud van de toiletten. Je voelde dat de eigenaars toegankelijk waren en ze de camping met hart en ziel beheren. De biologische en locale producten, alsook het heerlijke artisanale ijs, maakte ons verblijf heerlijk. Als je naar een kleinschalige en geen commerciële camping wilt gaan, raden wij deze plek ten zeerste aan! Wij komen zeker terug :-). Ps: Jean bouwt alle (!) cabannes en huisjes van de camping zelf! ??

The establishment
This wonderful campsite is cosy, has its shady and sunny places, is well kept and the pitches are very spacious. The owners are very helpful, friendly, know the region well and were patient and willing to make an effort to bridge our language barrier. The private sanitary on the campsite we booked is simple but foresees in all you need, clean and comfortable.
The pitch itself was quite sloped, which brought some trouble with heavy rains.
Accommodation review
Private sanitary is well kept and does what it needs to do. Campsite and pitches are very spacious and offer shade as well as sunny spots.

De omgeving is prachtig. Eigenaar is erg enthousiast en wil graag dingen laten zien om je te helpen.
Douches konden iets schoner en naar de rivier lopen is ongeveer 5 min

Er waren genoeg bomen voor schaduw wat erg prettig was. Daarnaast was de plek ruim.

Nous avons très bien commencé « la saison camping » à la Châtaigneraie. L’accueil est chaleureux, le sanitaire est très propre, le cadre vraiment agréable. Nous avons bien apprécié leur petite terrasse. On recommande aussi l’auberge qui est juste à coté.
