The establishment
The location was good - small walk up hill to Fleurie. Easy access to vineyards. Can hire the Mehari to get around which is good fun.
Pitch was dark. Private bathrooms too far from pitch; should be one on each pitch for that price. Most expensive stay but didn’t feel value for money.

Privacy of pitch was good, each separated by hedges but very tight to manoeuvre on and off pitch in a large vehicle.
Pitch was dark and wet and too far from many amenities.

Nice to stay in one of the upgraded chalets. Lots of nice new upgrades.
The drains behind tha chalet are a bit smelly, but not sure you can do much about that 🫨

Good check in, clean facilities. Well situated for visiting Fleurie. We only stayed one night, but had we not booked the next place we would have stayed for two to explore the town and surroundings.
We would have liked to have booked the meal, but could not find how to do this before we arrived.

The cabin opposite our pitch had a van parked in the front, this did give us a difficulty when manovering out.

Pitch was adequately sized. Position was good giving good shade in the extreme heat but also sunny areas for taking in some of the sun.

Friendly staff who spoke good English. Clean and tidy site which was well organised
It was difficult to find the pitch number signs as the hedges had overgrown them! We actually pitched in the wrong place! We missed the sign. The staff were very understanding but the sign number was hidden by the hedge.

The establishment
We chose this type of accommodation as I had stayed in a few before. There were 10 of us ranging from 5-69 years old and we were also on a range of budgets, so this type of accommodation suited this. The location was stunning. Some of our party camped and the facilities here (showers etc) were also of a high quality. There was plenty for the 5 year old (swimming, park, bouncy castle and evening entertainment). I
The campsite could also do with a small simple bar. One evening we were playing family games on the verandah of one of our chalets and we were asked to stop the loud noise as there was a noise cut off of 10pm. We hadn't realised. The next day we noticed on the information in our chalet, it said the cut off was 11pm. We were told at 10.07pm that people had complained, because they had young children who were trying to sleep. It was also inconvenient that the reception closed from sometime in the morning to 2pm

We felt the chalet needed an oven (not just a microwave) and a kettle.

Fantastic as ever. Marie, Stefan and the team are always there to help. The location is perfect ( we love to hike) and so quiet. Fleurie is the perfect little town.
Some of the showers and toilets need a little attention ( broken buttons etc)

The establishment
Stayed for an overnight stop on the way to the South. Ideally situated just 15mins from motorway in a semi rural location. We met with the owner Marie upon arrival and thank her for generous hospitality. A good clean and spacious site with a variety of accommodation. Nice pool, just what was needed after a long drive. Would visit again and highly recommend.

The establishment
Stephane and Marie are absolutely top hosts and though the campsite is good I would declare them the best asset! Nothing appears too much for them and they enjoy making sure that their visitors get the best experience possible within their area, which they love to show off to those willing to explore. Ideally located for visiting the Beaujolais wine region. Seek their guidance to optimise your experience!
The only thing I would like to see is an improvement in is the ventilation in the shower block.
