A very well run, friendly and clean site and close to the steam train station

Pitch was level and trees provided much needed shade. All facilities close to pitch. Lady cleaner was always on site looking after both sets of facilities as was vey friendly

Beautiful setting with well maintained site. The washing and toilet facilities were excellent and perfectly clean. The pitches were a good size and on level terraces. An excellent heritage steam railway adjoins the site.
WiFi is needed across the whole site, not just at the bar as phone signal is very weak generally.
Accommodation review
We were pleased that our ACSI card was accepted with low season deals.
There was a small bar from which bread was available but no food was served apart from an evening take away delivery from the local village.

Beautiful campsite, one of the best we have stayed at and the owners/family were very pleasant and welcoming. A massive asset to the site, was the scenic railway station next door. There is also a nice bar where you can socialise.

De hartelijke manier van ontvangst. We hadden een mooie staanplaats, het beheerdersechtpaar had rekening gehouden met onze wensen. Het sanitair is heel schoon en in prima staat.
Wifi op de staanplaatsen.

We hebben zowel in het hoogseizoen als met ACSI camping kaart op de camping gestaan.

Toerit naar slagboom, kan problemen geven met tegenliggers. Jammer dat eten elders vandaan komt dn uur van tevoren door moet geven
