Original visit: Ferme aux Crocodiles

... habitée par plus de 400 crocodiliens et 10 tortues géantes.
Unique en Europe, ce parc animalier est constitué d’une serre paysagée de 8000 m² dans laquelle évoluent librement plus de 400 animaux : 9 espèces de crocodiles, des tortues géantes des Seychelles et des Galápagos pesant de 80 à 150 kg et des oiseaux tropicaux.
C’est également un jardin d’intérêt botanique et horticole, puisque la serre présente plus de 600 espèces végétales exotiques : c’est la plus grande serre tropicale visitable en France ; l’intérêt pédagogique est primordial.
Depuis 1998, la Ferme aux Crocodiles s'est aussi dotée d'un laboratoire mis à la disposition des scientifiques pour la protection des reptiles.
