Although we are welcoming to comments as to how we can make things better a swimming pool is something that is not in keeping with the atmosphere here at Ferme Noemie. As there are two good pools within 5kms of us I would prefer to leave the pool and the noise to the village to deal with! Parasols are a difficult thing to manage as on a site with tents, should one fly off during a gust of wind (we often get a bit breezy in the afternoon), alot of damage could be caused. For this reason we built the two shaded areas with the picnic tables. Your stay was during the busiest period of the Etape de Tour and the build up to the Tour de France which may have resulted in the facilities being busier than normal. We have the maximum amount of signage on the road that we are allowed. From the Grenoble side we have a panel on the main road as well as signs at the entrance to the road we are on, and signs pointing to the campsite. We also have signs on the Bourg d'Oisans side of the road as well. It was lovely to meet you, hopefully we will see you again for another event. Greetings from Bourg, Melanie!

Hello, thank you for taking the time to leave your review. I do feel it necessary to give answer to your comments. Firstly let me point out that your booking was made on the understanding that as per our terms and conditions of booking a minimum stay of 2 nights was required in order to make the reservation. You chose to book and therefore accept two nights minimum stay. Your booking was made two weeks before your stay, ie last minute. You booked for two nights for the busiest week of our season. Perhaps if you are seeking a stay with fewer people maybe avoid major events such as Alpe d' HuZes, the Marmotte or the Tour de France. Your space was honoured and kept for both the first AND the second night of your trip. You arrived late in the evening, I was there to show you into your space. You arrived at a time when the whole campsite of clients had arrived back at the site following the event therefore the shower block was busier than normal. Had you not have booked you would most definitely have found yourselves without any pitch at all. I do not feel it necessary to offer a refund when it is the clients decision to not come for a night. As said, your space was kept. I feel I have now given an explanation for your negative comments. Fortunately the majority of our guests enjoyed their stay with us and understood the necessity of accepting as many people as possible ensuring the success of the event. I am satisfied that other guests who stayed with us for the duration of the event found our standard of cleanliness and service good to excellent.
